The mainstay of the business has always been the grocery sales.  Manitowabi Grocery operated independently from any franchise for the first 40 years of operation.  In 2006, we successfully negotiated a Freshmart franchise with National Grocers/Loblaws.   Andy’s Freshmart was officially launched on June 21st, 2006, our 40th anniversary celebration date.

Andy’s Freshmart was launched to improve product selection and pricing for our valued customers.  We are now able to access the full line of President’s Choice and No Name products through our supplier.  We also follow the recommended pricing structure and flyer program to ensure competitive pricing for Wiky members.
